Fight for Green!
Tour of Slovenia
promotes ecotourism

One of the resounding messages heard at the Tour of Slovenia is “Fight for Green!” These days, it has a double meaning – cyclists in the race are of course fighting for the green winner’s jersey, but Slovenia is also fighting to promote green tourism on the sidelines of the event.
You can be part of the effort to make Slovenia’s tourism more sustainable by supporting local businesses, taking part in activities with a low environmental impact and treating destinations with respect.
Tour of Slovenia
Slovenia’s passion for cycling runs deep, with its oldest clubs dating back more than 75 years. The Central European country has enthusiastically built its own unique legacy in the sport over the years – and the Tour of Slovenia is its crown jewel.
Since 1993, this premier race has seen world-class cyclists zip across Slovenia’s storied landscapes, zig-zagging the country from tip to tail through challenging climbs and thrilling descents. Hometown champions Primož Roglič and Tadej Pogačar – two of the sport’s brightest stars – stand among its distinguished winners.
31st Edition
This year, the 31st Tour of Slovenia will run from June 4-8, drawing thousands of roadside fans and millions of television viewers worldwide.
Witnessing it firsthand isn’t just an opportunity to experience the thrill and camaraderie for yourself, but also an invitation to explore the diverse beauty and cultural richness that Slovenia has to offer.
